Northeastern University Global Health Initiative (NUGHI) is an on-campus club dedicated to spreading awareness about the importance of global health to the undergraduate community and beyond. In 2018, NUGHI spearheaded the first student-led global health conference on Northeastern’s campus.

To date, NUGHI has held two undergraduate run global health conferences featuring world-renowned health experts, educational workshops, and poster sessions. The annual conferences allow students to establish new connections and effectively communicate with healthcare researchers and professionals.

Additionally, NUGHI members have also conducted Fireside Chats, where healthcare researchers and experts can shed light on global health topics that they are passionate about to students in an informal setting. Our organization sends monthly newsletters to give insight on health issues and worldwide events. These newsletters also provide news about past and future conferences we will be holding, as well as ways to get involved! NUGHI strives to demonstrate that students can cause effective change by collaborating with others and advocating for a better world.
